Resident guidance

One point of contact, one route for a fault, and a way to escalate when something is not moving.

What it covers

Resident guidance

A managing agent is only useful if you can reach them and if the person you reach knows your building. Every development we manage has a named contact, and a route for the things that need escalating beyond them.

Much of what residents ring about is answered by a short explanation rather than an inspection: who is responsible for the inside of a flat and who is responsible for the shared parts, what the charge covers, how an owners’ meeting works. We would rather explain it once, clearly, than have you chase it.

Included

What you get

  • Fault reporting by form, email and telephone, all logged the same way
  • Clear guidance on what is shared, and what is not

  • Support for owners’ meetings, papers circulated in advance
  • An escalation route when a decision is taking too long

Four steps

How it works

Find your contact

Every development has a named contact, given to residents when we take the building on.

Report or ask

Faults and questions come to the same place and are logged the same way, so nothing depends on who happened to pick up the phone.

Get an answer

You get an acknowledgement and a name. If something is holding an answer up, we tell you rather than go quiet.

Escalate if needed

If it is not moving, there is a written route to escalate, with somebody accountable at the other end of it.

Note. The bands above are guide figures for a typical development and are shown so you can judge the order of things before you speak to us. The figure that applies to your building is confirmed in a written quotation once we know what the development actually includes. Nothing here is a fixed price and nothing here is a fee we add on top without telling you first.
